In case any of you are burning with curiosity, here are a few images of my beautiful new guitar by Gary Demos. Louis Panormo was a luthier of Italian ancestry living and working in London until moving to New Zealand in the mid 1800s. The soundboard is an American spruce hybrid known as Lutz spruce (Picea x lutzii). The back and sides are cocobolo. Its bracing consists of seven asymmetric fanned bars inspired by a guitar Panormo built for the performer/composer Huerta in 1828.
